The beer scene in the Philippines has changed a lot in the last five years, with craft breweries opening up in different parts of the country. With the introduction of a wide variety of brews to the Filipino palate, it is worth knowing your craft beer and how to get the most of your drinking experience.
The Glass Bar at Crescent Moon, in partnership with Santiago Brewery & Malthouse, will be offering a Beer Appreciation Workshop on Saturday, June 30, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Crescent Moon Cafe in Antipolo.
The workshop will cover various topics including beer ingredients, the brewing process, beer styles, storing and serving beer, flavor evaluation, and food pairing. It will be taught by James Gatlabayan, CEO and Masterbrewer at Santiago Brewery & Malthouse. Participants will get to try six different craft brews paired with food by Crescent Moon Cafe.
Workshop fee is P2,000 per head and includes instruction, beer tasting, food pairing, and two bottles of beer to take home.
